Several Reddit boards for discussing news and daily life in Ukrainian, such as r/reddit_ukr, r/RedditUATalks and r/unukrcomm; some explicitly ban Russian.

Reddit's topic boards (subreddits) are run by volunteer moderators under their own rules. Boards where Ukrainian speakers gather include r/reddit_ukr, r/RedditUATalks and r/unukrcomm, with discussions ranging from prices and transit fares to mobilization and travel abroad.

Some boards have language rules. r/reddit_ukr's automoderator message says Russian is not allowed and only Ukrainian and English are permitted; r/unukrcomm makes Ukrainian the community's working language and bans Russian-language content, pro-Russian content and any justification of Russia's aggression.

In 2026 a user on r/reddit_ukr wrote that, while moderating another board, they had found that many posts about the Territorial Centres of Recruitment and Social Support (TCC) and "busification" came from new accounts and were often flagged by Reddit as spam.
